Oceanic - CDX 1st Stage Regulator
Oceanic introduces the new CDX First Stage Regulator. Simple, dependable and economical. What else would you expect from a design as refined and perfected as the CDX? Effortless breathing in a compact design that is extremely tough yet easy to maintain and service. The Oceanic CDX regulator is a balanced diaphragm first stage manufactured from triple chromed marine grade brass for durability and long life, the first stage has 4 LP ports and 2 HP port with 3/8" and 7/16" threads. The LP ports are angled for optimum hose routing.
The balanced diaphragm, first stage regulator is inherently environmentally sealed. The benefit of this type of first stage design is that none of the delicate internal parts are exposed to contaminants such as salt, sand, chlorine or pool acids. These environmental contaminants can cause corrosion and mineral deposits to form on the internal mechanism deteriorating regulator performance. A diaphragm first stage regulator requires less maintenance then regulators that allow contaminates to enter the internal mechanism.
The balanced feature allows the first stage to perform flawlessly at high and low cylinder pressures automatically.This first stage regulator is Nitrox compatible to 40% straight out of the box.
