The Future of Exploration is Here: Dive the New Halcyon SYMBIOSâ„¢ with Paragon
For years, the diving world has whispered about "what's next" from Halcyon. We knew it would be innovative. We knew it would be built to the demanding standards of the world’s most elite explorers. But we didn't know it would change the game entirely.
The wait is over. The Halcyon SYMBIOSâ„¢ is here.
At Paragon Dive Group, we are proud to announce that we are not just a premier dealer for this revolutionary system—we are one of the first centers in the country to offer comprehensive certification courses on the unit. This is your opportunity to be at the forefront of diving technology.
What is the Halcyon SYMBIOS?
The SYMBIOS is not just a rebreather; it is a complete ecosystem designed to seamlessly integrate with the way you already dive.
The Chest-Mount Revolution
The SYMBIOS features a modular, chest-mounted Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) design.
- Why it matters: It leaves your back-mounted cylinders exactly where they are. You don't need to relearn your trim or change your harness configuration. You simply add the SYMBIOS to your existing rig. This offers incredible flexibility, allowing you to scale your life support from a recreational dive to an extreme cave exploration mission with ease.
- Travel Ready: The unit is compact, lightweight, and designed to fly.
The Connected Ecosystem
Halcyon has reimagined how a diver interacts with their data. The SYMBIOS connects wirelessly to a suite of devices:
- The Handset: An ultra-slim, full-color display that is readable in any light.
- The HUD: A Heads-Up Display that provides critical data right in your line of sight.
- The Tank Pod: Wireless air integration that feeds your gas data directly to your wrist.
Unmatched Safety & Reliability
Built with the "fail-safe" philosophy Halcyon is famous for, the unit features advanced electronics, vibration alerts that you can feel through your exposure suit, and a robust design capable of withstanding the harshest underwater environments.
Train with Us in High Springs: The Home of Halcyon
To truly understand this system, you need to dive it where it was born. Paragon Dive Group is hosting exclusive SYMBIOS training events in High Springs, Florida—the headquarters of Halcyon Dive Systems and the heart of cave country.
This is a unique "destination training" opportunity. You will learn directly from experts in the very environment that inspired the unit's creation. We are offering two distinct tracks:
1. The Crossover Course (For Certified CCR Divers)
- Who is this for? Experienced rebreather divers who are already certified on another unit (e.g., JJ-CCR, Megalodon, rEvo) and want to cross over to the SYMBIOS.
- Focus: You already know the physics and physiology of CCR diving. This course focuses specifically on the mechanics, assembly, maintenance, and diving characteristics of the SYMBIOS system.
- Tuition: $1,200
Upcoming Dates:
- February 2 - 4 (3 Days)
- March 4 - 6 (3 Days)
2. The Initial User Course (For New CCR Divers)
- Who is this for? Open circuit divers ready to make the leap into the silent world. No prior rebreather experience is required.
- Focus: This is a comprehensive, deep-dive into rebreather diving. You will learn unit assembly, dive planning, loop volume management, bail-out procedures, and the specific skills needed to become a safe, competent SYMBIOS diver.
- Tuition: $2,400
Upcoming Dates:
- February 22 - 27 (6 Days)
- March 18 - 24 (7 Days)
Secure Your Spot in History
These courses are expected to fill rapidly. The Halcyon SYMBIOS is the most talked-about piece of equipment in the industry right now, and spots for these initial training sessions are strictly limited to ensure personal attention and high-quality instruction.
Don't just read about the future of diving—dive it.
